Hunger

Imagine waking up hungry without a solution to the pain. In 2024, more than 295 million people in 53 countries faced high levels of food insecurity.

In fact, hunger claims the lives of an estimated 10,000 children every day.

With food insecurity at its highest, we strive to not only meet the immediate needs of children and families but also work with them on sustainable solutions for the future.

Together, we trained 133,267 people, including 75,722 women in agriculture and livestock techniques, including food production, livestock handling, climate-smart techniques and post-harvest storage methods.

Our investments in the hunger crisis have focused on the most fragile and very low-developing countries: Somalia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Sudan, Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We meet people where they are at, equipping families and communities with the training and resources needed to build a sustainable future.
