The Refugee Education Council’s first annual report and Youth Anthology titled “Learning from Disrupted Learners” captures the experiences, insights, and priorities of refugee and displaced youth striving to access quality education in the face of crisis. The Anthology identifies five critical areas of inequality in refugee education, such as inclusion, mental health and psychosocial support, technology and digital learning, gender equality, and accountability.

Within these pages are powerful stories, essays, poems and compelling arguments that make clear why the global community must act urgently to close the education gap for refugees. The report not only inspires but also provides concrete focus areas for international education stakeholders to create systems that are inclusive, resilient, and equitable.
