World Vision supporters help to provide clean water, improve sanitation and hygiene and bring real change.

Since 2010, World Vision has provided more than 3.5 million children with access to clean water, safe and accessible toilets, water treatment kits, hand washing facilities, and hygiene education, so they can keep healthy and remain in school.

Water is something we rely on every day – almost every hour of every day. But for 663 million people who don’t have access to clean water and sanitation, water becomes the key to life. Access to clean drinking water can help children and families become safer, stronger and smarter.

In Iraq, your donation means that…

  • 18,025 people have safe water for drinking and cooking thanks to improved water sources.
  • 1,943 people are benefitting from improved latrines and have better access to sanitation.
  • 1,330 people learned about the importance of water safety, proper sanitation and hygiene to stay healthy.
