For 75 years, World Vision Canada has been guided by one unwavering belief: every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential. As we mark this milestone, we are not only reflecting on decades of impact, but also celebrating the momentum you helped create over the past year.
Our impact is recognized by Charity Intelligence Canada, which ranks us a Top 10 International Impact charity and a Top 100 Charity, with a five-star rating, High Demonstrated Impact, and an A+ for results reporting. Together, we’ve reached 68.2 million people in the past decade through programs in 68 countries, and through the World Vision Partnership, we work across nearly 100 countries on six continents.

Because of you, sponsorship continues to be a powerful force for lasting change in children’s lives and communities. Here’s what your support made possible this year:
- 251,215 girls and boys are now sponsored in 136 communities across 32 countries.
- 18 sponsorship communities graduated to self-sufficiency.
- 4 new sponsorship communities were established.
- 11 communities are on track to graduate in 2026, and 1 new community will open.

And your impact doesn’t stop here. Across our five core sectors, sponsorship helped deliver measurable results that strengthen families and communities and create lasting change for children:
Education: 167,771 children attended in-school or after-school literacy activities.
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene: 153,075 people had access to handwashing facilities at home or school.

Livelihoods: 141,335 people were actively involved in savings groups, providing them with financial literacy training and access to small loans.
Child Protection and Participation: 92,064 children and adults were trained in child protection, including positive parenting, children's rights and early marriage.
Health: 30,358 children received micronutrient supplementation such as vitamin A, zinc and micronutrient powders.
In 2025, your sponsorship donations were invested to strengthen and protect children in the areas that matter most. More than half of program funding supported C hild Protection and Participation (54%, $50.4M), helping children stay safe, heard, and supported in their communities. Additional investments include advanced Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (15%, $13.6M), Education (11%, $10.2M), Health (10%, $9.5M), and Livelihoods (10%, $9.6M), ensuring children and families had access to essential services and opportunities to thrive.
