Millions of people around the world are affected by armed conflict, natural disasters, and food insecurity. In 2015, 65.3 million individuals were forced to flee their homes to escape violence. According to the United Nations, more than 125 million people are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
Among the most vulnerable in these disasters are children who are in urgent need of life-saving assistance such as shelter, food, water and health care. World Vision responds to emergencies by supporting families after a natural disaster or those living in fragile and conflict-affected countries.
