Teaming up for clean water: CFL x World Vision in Kenya
The CFL and World Vision are back for another season of impact, this time with a new mission.
This year, some of the CFL’s toughest players traveled to the heart of Taveta, Kenya and walked side-by-side families to see how their lack of access to clean water is threatening lives. When CFL fans unite, anything is possible and now, it’s time for a new kind of victory.
Together, we can bring clean water to Taveta.

Why Taveta? A community in need
In Taveta, Kenya, 374 households live in the Mahoo Community with no access to clean water. Kenya is facing the worst drought in decades. Women and children must travel up to 20 km daily to collect water for their homes, that is unsafe to drink.
Life-threatening health risks
75% of families lack access to safe water, risking exposure to diseases like cholera and typhoid.
Education access
Students miss school due to daily water collection, waterborne illnesses and poor hygiene.
Food security
90% of open water sources have dried up; families cannot grow crops or raise livestock.
Economic hardship
Lack of access to clean water limits income-generating activities.
