Now you want to know more about the words you found. We’ll save you a Google search and give you just a bit more info word by word …

Spanish: One of Peru’s four official languages.
Andean: Refers to the Andes, the world’s largest continental mountain range, part of which extends into Peru.

Amazon: Not the online retailer, but the rainforest, part of which is in Peru.

Inca: Refers to the Inca Empire, which included Peru before Peru existed.
Machu Picchu: Wait—you’ve never heard of Machu Picchu? Okay. It’s a famous Inca site in Peru.

Llosa: As in Mario Vargos Llosa, “a Peruvian writer, politician, journalist, essayist, college professor and recipient of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Literature”—that’s what Wikipedia says.

Quechua: One of Peru’s four official languages.

Lima: The capital of Peru. Also a region, a province and a district​.
