Raw Hope works in the world’s most volatile regions like South Sudan, Syria and Honduras, where conflict, economic instability and human rights violations can make every day feel like a living hell. But survival isn’t just about meeting the immediate needs of the millions of children and their families who call these places home.

WHAT YOUR MONEY CAN HELP SUPPORT

Child Protection

Helping kids advocate for themselves and speak out against abuse and injustice. Teaching families about children’s rights, so they’re better equipped to keep their daughters and sons safe. In 2020, nearly 57,000 people learned about children’s rights.

Education

Making quality education possible through classroom repairs, the provision of school supplies and training for teachers and parents. In 2020, nearly 40,000 children were enrolled and attending school.

Food & Nutrition

Investing in sustainable resources, agricultural programs and cooking workshops to provide families with nutritious food year-round. In 2020, more than 12,000 farmers received seeds, livestock, tools or farming equipment, helping them to increase their harvests and family income. 

Healthcare

Increasing access to essential services like vaccinations, clinics and training programs leads to better health for children and their communities. In 2020, over 38,000 girls and boys had their height and weight checked for malnourishment, so they could get the treatment they need. 

Safe Water

Improving a child’s chance of survival with the provision of new wells, pumps and health workshops. Since 2020, over 111,000 people have water sources within 30 minutes of home, freeing days up to be spent at school instead of gathering water.
