This might be a tough one. Your challenge for today is to write an encouraging note to someone who is going through a difficult time. Who are you going to reach out to?
 

Mony’s Story

Meet Mony who lives in Cambodia with her parents and siblings. She is five years oldand has just become a sponsored child. This change is impacting her whole family.Mony used to feel afraid in her own home when her dad would drink and yell, butsponsorship has given him the support he needs to help raise his children in a caringhome. Before being sponsored, Mony spent a lot of time being sick with inadequatehealthcare, but she no longer has to.

Tonight, reflect on your challenge to reach out to someone:

Do you know people who are going through particularly tough times?
How did it feel to be there for them today?
How have people been there for you when you have been sick or struggling?

Pray

Pray for children who are sick or imprisoned. Pray for them to know the love of Christ.
