Shelley Pacheco to join Canadian aid and development agency as human resources leader

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – World Vision Canada is pleased to announce that Shelley Pacheco has joined the aid and development agency as its Chief People Officer. Ms. Pacheco succeeds Charlie Guy who has retired after 12 years of dedicated service with World Vision.  
Previously, Pacheco served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief of Staff for Consolidated Energy Solutions (CES) and Constant Power. She has broad experience in strategic human resources management, organizational effectiveness and design, coaching and workplace culture, and has worked in businesses ranging from technology start-ups to global companies, including D-Link Canada and Alberici. Passionate about community service and international development, Ms. Pacheco has been a long-time World Vision child sponsor and is also an advisor to a non-profit agency helping children living in poverty in Saint John, New Brunswick, as well as a board member of the Halton Poverty Roundtable.
