Update on the Zika Virus Outbreak

The spread of the Zika virus is causing great concern across Latin America and around the world, threatening the health of mothers, children and their communities.

World Vision is monitoring the situation and safety of communities we partner with, and working closely with local governments and international institutions to help where most needed.

Many communities are in urgent need of assistance to stop the spread of the Zika virus. Education and awareness about the virus, mosquito control, as well as preventive measures, including access to bed nets and repellants, and services for pregnant mothers are vital.

We will be providing more information as it becomes available.
