Some 795 million people in the world do not have enough to eat. That's about one in nine people on earth.

Food is a basic human right. World Vision provides children and families with the means to fight hunger and achieve food security.​​​

Making a Real Difference

    To fight anemia, World Vision teamed up with the Mongolian Ministry of Health and Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children to develop an integrated nutrition program targeting pregnant women and children under 5. Specially formulated Sprinkles sachets were added to young children's food. Between 2005 and 2010, the levels of anemia in children 6 to 59 months decreased by 4%.
