WHEN MONSOON RAINS
flooded the Brahmaputra River in India last year, the state of Assam suffered the worst. Thousands of families saw their homes washed away. World Vision’s relief efforts helped more than 1,000 families in 18 different villages, providing comfort and some normalcy with kitchen utensils, towels, mosquito nets, clothing, bed sheets, tarpaulins, plastic mats, buckets and hygiene kits.
