Typhoon Ketsana causes massive floods in the Philippines
Your help is urgently needed to rush emergency supplies to children and families affected by the massive floods in the Philippines.
Torrential rains brought by Typhoon Ketsana recently caused flooding all over Metro Manila and nearby provinces affecting over 450,000 people and killing more than 140.
Typhoon Parma is threatening further torrential rain and damaging winds and forcing evacuations of families. Government officials have declared a “state of calamity” across the Philippines. Your help is urgently needed.
World Vision has been working in the Philippines for more than 50 years. World Vision is there, responding to the needs of children and their families and is providing life-saving emergency food plus emergency survival kits containing items such as water-purification tablets, plastic sheeting for shelter, warm clothing and much-needed household items.
