Dear World Vision Supporter, As I try to move through the debris-filled streets of Port-au-Prince, I'm horrified to see that so many children are on their own, frightened and hungry, unable to find their parents.
If you have already given, I thank you so much. Supplies are arriving and are being distributed at this very moment. But with the enormous scale of the devastation, the emergency work is heartbreakingly slow. Communication is sporadic, and trucks carrying supplies must try to pass through blocked roads. |
 There are so many surviving children who need life-saving essentials, like medical care and shelter. Please help. (AP) |

There are so many children and families who are still in desperate circumstances. Everything they had—beds, clothes, food—lies smashed under the rubble.
