MEDIA ADVISORY

WHAT: A festive New Year tradition and Canada’s largest charity dip, the Courage Polar Bear Dip returns for its 31st annual event on New Year’s Day 2016.  This year is on track to be the biggest year yet, with almost 1,000 dippers and thousands of spectators expected to cheer them on.

This year they are expecting to raise more than $120,000 for clean water in Rwanda, which would bring the total raised by this dip to $1.4 million.
