World Vision Canada is saddened by the loss of lives and suffering that this crisis has triggered, including children. We are deeply concerned by the impact of the violence on children in Israel and in the occupied Palestinian territory along with the deteriorating humanitarian situation.
We ask Canadians for their prayers for the safety of innocent children and families in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory and for peace in these areas. The safety and well-being of all people, especially children, must be the priority of all parties.
World Vision is closely monitoring the situation to assess humanitarian needs. We urge all parties to urgently create the conditions for the delivery of aid to affected communities to respond to their humanitarian needs.
