Beyond the Welcome (2011)
Newcomers (refugee and immigrant) to Canada face the challenges of poverty to a disproportionate degree. In partnership with the Centre for Community-Based Research and Tyndale’s Intercultural Ministries (TIM) centre this research project explores how churches can become communities where newcomers are fully welcomed and included. Recovery? Not for Many Canadian Families (2010)
Recessions create poverty. In partnership with Citizens for Public Justice, this report studies the impact of the 2008-2009 recession upon Canadian families nationally, and in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, and Montréal.

Living Below the Line (2009)
Studies clearly show that growing up poor in Canada can limit a child’s development. This report outlines the challenges of poverty in Canada as well as World Vision’s response.

Changing Patterns for Street-Involved Youth (2009)
In partnership with Yonge Street Mission, hundreds of street-involved youth and agencies serving these youth were interviewed as part of this research project. The study confirmed some expectations, but also produced some surprising results that will inform policy and programs designed to support street-involved youth.
