World Vision Youth Ambassador Program
2009 Youth Ambassadors share an exciting moment in Tanzania.

Youth around the world are taking the lead on global issues and inspiring amazing change and awareness. World Vision’s Youth Ambassador Program is about just that—encouraging the best and most passionate Canadian youth leaders to rise to the challenges of our world, and to inspire their peers to do the same.
Rise to the Challenge
World Vision Canada’s 2010 Youth Ambassador Program offers the unique and exciting opportunity for six youth leaders from across Canada to travel to Rwanda, East Africa. During this trip they will learn about the challenges of poverty and how World Vision is working with community members to overcome these challenges.
Youth Ambassadors will also participate in a Youth Leadership Forum with young African leaders from Rwanda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)—a four-day event which develops the global understanding and leadership skills of all participants.
Once back in Canada, the Youth Ambassadors will share their stories and become activists—mobilizing other youth to speak out for change and fight poverty.
