Barrick The most recent collaboration between Barrick and World Vision began in 2011, with Barrick Gold’s contribution of $500,000 towards a World Vision project in the district of Quiruvilca, Peru. This initiative is also supported by the Canadian International Development Agency and aims to achieve improved economic and social development for local households, especially women, youth and disadvantaged groups where there is an accelerated increase in mining revenue.
