This year World Vision Canada’s youth programs are focusing on global food issues. While 850 million people worldwide already experienced chronic hunger, experts say that recent changes in fuel and food prices have driven another 100 million people into the same condition. Those earning less than a dollar a day are in a fight for their lives and we need to help them fight.
As a response we have launched Food Fight—an action guide for youth on the global food crisis. Food Fight is filled with info on the facts and causes of the food crisis, tools to engage your school as well as practical things you can do to make a difference.
How do you get a Food Fight guide?

If you would like a printed copy, you can:
- Lead the 30 Hour Famine. Every 30 Hour Famine leader will get a copy with their leader’s kit.
- Email youth@worldvision.ca and buy a copy. For $5.00 to cover shipping and handling we will mail a printed copy of Food Fight.
