World Vision Canada is deeply concerned about the violence in Libya, particularly with regards to the rights and safety of children, who are most vulnerable to injuries, death and exploitation in periods of civil unrest. Children need to be in safe, secure spaces with their families and they need food, water and shelter.

World Vision Canada, and other World Vision organizations around the world, are continuing to monitor the situation in Libya and neighbouring countries. World Vision has provided supplies to other humanitarian agencies on the ground in the affected areas.
