Toronto’s Front Burner

While much of World Vision Canada’s work takes place overseas, the organization is also committed to addressing child poverty here in Canada.

Front Burner, an innovative cooking program in Toronto, is one of 52 programs World Vision funds across the country. By teaching food preparation and nutrition in a close-knit community setting, the program addresses the needs of children who often have little to eat and need a place to belong.

Through programs like Front Burner, it is World Vision Canada’s goal to restore the well-being of 200,000 Canadian children by 2025.
