Due to the current political crisis in Kenya, some donors have expressed concern about the safety of their sponsored children.

World Vision Canada would like to inform donors that no Canadian sponsored children have been affected by the violence in Kenya. Sponsors should, however, expect delays in any mail or communication from the region.

World Vision will continue to monitor the situation and will keep Canadian sponsors updated as new information becomes available.

World Vision Canada is receiving regular updates from our World Vision Kenya colleagues. The World Vision office in Nairobi is operating with emergency staff because of the deteriorating security situation.
