Stories about kids and dangerous internet behaviour are more and more common in today’s connected world. On Safer Internet Day (Tuesday, February 7)—a day to promote responsible use of online technology for children across the world—we want to share some stories with a different angle, that of hope.

In Brazil, technology is proving a positive force in the lives of youth. With help from World Vision, they are arming themselves with the skills they need to escape a life of poverty, drugs and street violence.

Meet Alberto, Joao Paolo, Daniele, Marilene, Edgleison, Carol, Gleury and Nonato and see how technology is making their world safer and better.

In Georgia, more and more children are gaining access to computers and the Internet, without first learning of the risks involved. Learn about World Vision's "Keeping Children Safe Online" project and how it's changing both children and adults' online behaviour.
