The day after the earthquake, World Vision was able to use reserves of emergency supplies already stored in Haiti to hospitals whose supplies were destroyed in the quake. A few days later, the first relief shipment arrived from World Vision Canada, totalling nearly four tonnes, and more flights followed.
Your quick and generous response, has allowed us to respond effectively on the ground, working in close collaboration with other agencies and local community groups. This has made a real and vital difference in the lives of children and families in the devastated city.
