These kids have escaped their chaotic, makeshift camp, located in a busy traffic area, to play and learn at the nearest school. World Vision's experts in child protection have organized a program of fun activities aimed at giving the children an enjoyable and safe place to play. These "child-friendly spaces" are set up in the wake of a disaster to help children return to some sense of normalcy while their families adjust to their lives in the camps. The spaces also provide the children some protection form trafficking and exploitation. World Vision has established four such areas in camps around Port-au-Prince.
