Championing Children's Rights

Canada is considered an advocate for children on the international stage.  World Vision's advocacy team lobbies Canada's leaders, holding them accountable to the commitments they've made to children's rights. The rewards of our work are rarely immediate—some goals take years to realize. 

Patience and Persistence

You'll find us in midnight conference calls, pressing for laws protecting children from violence.  You'll find us with politicians, urging them to put children first in funding decisions.  And you'll find us with other NGOs, pushing for affordable AIDS medication for children around the world.  In between are countless e-mails and phone calls, as we strive to place children in the spotlight.  More about how we work.
