Most Canadians will never experience a winter water dip, but the 'Polar Bears' are all heart when they take the cold plunge January 1st to raise $100,000 towards the Manonga Water and Sanitation Project which will bring clean water and improved health to the community of Manonga, Tanzania.

More than 95% of families in the region have no choice but to use unsafe wells or draw their drinking water from polluted ponds. World Vision is responding to water and sanitation needs in Manonga by providing access to clean water for 6,000 people and helping the community practice safe hygiene and sanitation. The Manonga Water and Sanitation project will help reduce waterborne disease in children and release women and girls from the time-consuming task of water collection.

All life depends on water. On this the 26th anniversary of the Courage Polar Bear Dip, please give generously so that children and the families in Manonga can access clean water, a valuable resource we Canadians often take for granted……you can make a difference.
