World Vision welcomes increased humanitarian funding for crises in Iraq and Syria 
January 7, 2015 — The Government of Canada has announced $90 million in additional humanitarian funding for the refugee crises in Syria and Iraq. As part of this announcement, World Vision Canada has received $2.3 million for our humanitarian relief work in northern Iraq.

January 1, 2015 - Canada's largest Polar Bear Dip welcomed more than 700 enthusiastic dippers. They braved temperatures hovering at -2 degrees.
